If you have removed the oil injection you can block the inlet hole with a m6 bolt (sold separately here)

    It's made by DMP, so there is that. When you look at the factory intake stamped 12 you think how in the heck could you drill it out from 12mm to a 15mm and some how still have enough meat to hold a carb, well they get close, mine measured 14.7mm i.d. That being said casting seems good, grab a Dremel and smooth out the the inner flashing and elbow intersection area, also the oil injection hole is in a different location from the factory position, I have mine blocked off, I don't think it would make a difference, but be aware of that. Now rather or not it is a performance gain or not, maybe it can't hurt but with the hard angle it is minimal, but for less than $20 it cant hurt.
